Here an orange classic road race bicycle from 70's.
Ten speeds, 53 x 42 drilled chainrings, 170mm Zeus Criterium cranks, Regina Oro freewheel (14 16 18 20 22), Regina CX chain, Zeus Pista pedals, Christophe toe clips and Alfredo Binda toe straps. 32 holes Zeus Gigante hubs, Nisi Moncalieri and cheapest tubulars from today.
10,2 kg (without pump and S.O.S. tubular)
Shift levers and front mech are Zeus Criterium, rear derailleur is a first version of Zeus 2000 (1975)
26,4mm fluted Zeus Criterium seatpost, Arius Gran Carrera Special saddle, Zeus 2001 brakeset, with brand new Reciclone Hoods (thank you Jordi! great job!)
Zeus frameset, size 56, Durifort tubing, Zeus 2000 headfork and dropouts. Zeus bottom bracket. I'm not sure if headset is Zeus. Stem and handlebars are 3ttt.
Here an explosion between "before and after":
These new handmaded hoods by Reciclone are a fantastic solution for the old Zeus brake levers with dead hoods. Forever young!
First Zeus 2000 rear deraileur from 1975 was the best by then.
Aluminium, plastic, steel, and 1 titanium bolt. Only 190 gr.
For more info you can read New Zeus Components: The 2000 Series
Nothing below the bottom bracket, no holes, no words or numbers. Typical in Zeus frames.
Classical and beautiful road bicycle, no decals needed here, nothing is empty. Steel resist.
So keep moving.
